Is DAO a blockchain?

Could you clarify for me if DAO qualifies as a blockchain? It seems to me that DAOs, as decentralized autonomous organizations, operate on blockchain technology, but I'm not entirely sure if they themselves constitute a blockchain. I'm aware that blockchains provide the underlying infrastructure for DAOs, enabling secure, transparent, and distributed transactions. But does this mean that every DAO is inherently a blockchain? Or is it more accurate to say that DAOs utilize blockchain technology to function? I'm interested in understanding the nuances of this relationship. Could you elaborate on this, please? Is DAO a blockchain?

The voting process within a DAO is typically conducted through blockchain technology, ensuring the immutability and security of decisions. Once a decision is recorded on the blockchain, it cannot be altered or reversed, providing a robust foundation for trust and consensus.
