Excuse me, I'm a bit confused about the terminology in the cryptocurrency world. Could you clarify for me if all altcoins are cryptocurrencies? I've heard the term "altcoin" used frequently, but I'm not entirely sure if it encompasses the entire range of digital currencies beyond Bitcoin. I understand that Bitcoin is considered the original and most well-known cryptocurrency, but are altcoins simply alternative versions of Bitcoin, or do they represent a broader category of digital currencies that exist independently? I'd appreciate your clarification on this matter. Are altcoins all cryptocurrencies?

However, there is a subset of individuals who adopt a narrower definition of altcoins. They consider altcoins to be all cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin and Ethereum (ETH). This perspective is based on the fact that many cryptocurrencies have originated as forks of either Bitcoin or Ethereum.
