Could you please explain to me in simple terms what a pump and dump is in the context of cryptocurrency trading? I've heard the term mentioned a few times but I'm not entirely clear on how it works or why it's considered to be a problematic practice. Is it a way for investors to artificially inflate the price of a coin or token, and then sell it off for a profit at the expense of other traders? I'd appreciate any insights you can provide on this topic. What is a pump and dump in crypto?
