Does FedEx pack bikes?

I'm curious to know if FedEx offers a service where they can pack bikes for shipping. I've been considering shipping my bicycle to a friend who lives across the country, but I'm not sure if FedEx is equipped to handle such a large and fragile item. Can they provide the necessary materials and expertise to ensure my bike arrives safely and in one piece? I'd appreciate any insights you might have on this matter.
