Can you get an e-transfer back if scammed?

Nicola Nicola Mon Sep 30 2024 | 6 answers 1297
Can you tell me, if someone were to scam me out of an e-transfer, would it be possible to get my money back? I'm really concerned about the security of my finances when dealing with cryptocurrency transactions and would like to know if there are any measures in place to protect me from such scams. I've heard that e-transfers can be irreversible, so I'm wondering if there's anything I can do if I fall victim to a scam. Can you get an e-transfer back if scammed?

This leaves the sender vulnerable to financial loss, as they have effectively parted with their money without receiving the promised goods or services. The scammers often disappear after receiving the funds, leaving their victims with no recourse.
