I'm curious about quarks, the subatomic particles. I've heard they're always found in groups, but I want to know if it's possible to isolate a single quark. Can you actually get a quark on its own?
This confinement means that quarks can only be found within larger particles called hadrons.

Hadrons are composed of either baryons or mesons. Baryons are particles such as protons and neutrons, which are themselves composed of quarks.

Mesons, on the other hand, are composed of a quark and an antiquark.

Quarks are unique particles that cannot be observed in isolation due to a phenomenon known as color confinement.
