I'm trying to solve a sequence that goes 2, 4, 6, 8, and then suddenly jumps to 100. I'm not sure how to approach this problem as the pattern seems to break after the first few numbers. Can anyone help me figure out the logic behind this sequence?

The number of terms can be calculated by dividing the last term by the common difference and adding 1, which gives us 50 terms.

To determine the sum of the series 2+4+6+8+…+100, a systematic approach is necessary.

We can use the formula for the sum of the first n natural numbers and then adjust it for our series.
