I'm trying to figure out how to calculate BFT. I've heard it's a measure of something, but I'm not sure what exactly. Can someone explain the steps or formula to calculate BFT?

The measurement of BFT is equivalent to 144 cubic inches.

There are two formulas to calculate BFT. The first formula is BFT = [thickness (in) x depth (in) x length (ft)] ÷ 12 feet.
