Do you have to pay tax on airdrops?

I received some airdrops recently and I'm wondering if I need to pay taxes on them. Are airdrops considered as income and therefore taxable, or are they treated differently? I'm trying to understand the tax implications of receiving airdrops. Do you have to pay tax on airdrops?
