I used AirDrop to transfer some photos, but I can't find them on my device. I'm wondering where these AirDropped photos ended up. Did they get lost or are they stored somewhere specific?

On an iPhone, AirDrop files are automatically directed to the app that corresponds to their file type. For instance, if you receive a photo via AirDrop, it will be sent to the Photos app.
