I received an AirDrop on my device, but I'm not sure who sent it. Is there a way to trace back and find out who AirDropped me the file? I want to know the identity of the sender.

On an iPhone or iPad, simply open the Files app and navigate to the location where AirDrop files are saved.

On a Mac, you can find the received AirDrop files in the Downloads folder or the specific folder you chose for them.
