What is Canada's FDA called?
I'm curious to know, what is the equivalent organization in Canada that functions similarly to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the United States? I understand that in the US, the FDA is responsible for regulating food safety, drug safety, and medical devices, among other things. Does Canada have a similar centralized agency with similar responsibilities? If so, what is it called? I'm interested in understanding how the Canadian regulatory landscape compares to the US in terms of its oversight of these critical areas.
