Hello, I am a foreigner currently residing in Korea. I was wondering if foreigners are able to use PayPal in this country? I am aware that different countries have their own regulations and restrictions regarding the use of online payment systems, so I was hoping to get some clarification on this matter. Could you please let me know if PayPal is accessible and available for use by foreigners in Korea? Thank you very much for your help!

Information for foreigners residing in South Korea: When establishing a business in Korea, obtaining a Corporate ID number becomes crucial. This ID number is necessary for linking a local bank account to your PayPal account.

For those without a Corporate ID number, there is a limitation. You will only be able to add a US bank account to your PayPal account. This restriction applies regardless of your Alien ID number.
