I have some nails that are deeply embedded into the wood and I'm not sure how to remove them safely. I've tried prying them out with a hammer and screwdriver, but they won't budge. What's the best way to get these nails out without damaging the wood? How to remove deeply embedded nails?

Next, introduce the hammer's claw into the nail shaft. Place it securely, ensuring a tight fit that will facilitate a smooth rocking motion. The claw's position is key to effectively applying lateral force.

Utilize the side-to-side pull technique by rocking the hammer's claw back and forth within the nail shaft. This movement loosens the nail's grip on the material, gradually working it loose from its hold.

Leverage is a crucial factor when dealing with stubborn nails. A block of wood, when used as a fulcrum, can significantly enhance the pulling power during nail extraction. This simple tool acts as a pivot point, allowing for a more efficient application of force.

As you rock the claw, be prepared to reposition the hammer as needed. The nail may resist certain angles or directions, requiring adjustments to maintain optimal leverage and progress.

Patience and persistence are essential during this process. The nail will not yield immediately but will gradually loosen with each back-and-forth motion. Keep a steady rhythm and apply consistent pressure.
