I'm trying to understand the relationship between Bitcoin nodes and miners. Specifically, I want to know if a Bitcoin node is automatically considered a miner, or if they are two separate entities with distinct functions in the Bitcoin network. Is a Bitcoin node a miner?

It's important to note that while all Bitcoin miners are nodes, not all nodes are miners.
