I am wondering if the Netherlands still uses guilders as their currency, or if they have switched to a different system like many other countries have done in recent years.

The Dutch Guilder banknotes ceased to be in use in 2001. 2. This was due to the adoption of the Euro as the official currency for the Netherlands.
