I was wondering if the United States still produces one dollar coins. I remember seeing them a while ago, but I haven't encountered them recently. Are they still being made or have they been discontinued? Do we still make $1 dollar coins?

Both of these series are considered to be circulation coins by the US Mint, meaning they are intended for use in everyday transactions.
