I have some foreign coins that I'm not sure what to do with. I was wondering if Coinstar machines accept foreign coins, or if they only take coins from the country where the machine is located.
Additionally, 1943 steel pennies are also not accepted. These unique coins, made of steel during wartime due to a copper shortage, will not be recognized by the Coinstar kiosks.

Pure silver coins, commemorative coins, and foreign coinage are also excluded from the list of acceptable items. These coins may not be properly identified or valued by the Coinstar system.

It is important to note that small, valuable items such as keys, jewelry, and other personal belongings should never be inserted into the Coinstar kiosk. These items may not be recognized and could be lost or damaged.

Among the unacceptable items, Eisenhower silver dollars are specifically mentioned. These coins, despite their historical significance, cannot be processed by Coinstar machines.
