I've been wondering why France doesn't use francs as its currency anymore. I know francs were the official currency of France in the past, but now it seems like they've switched to using euros. I'm curious about the reason behind this change. Why doesn't France use francs?

Following the introduction of the euro, French francs ceased to be legal tender.
