I'm wondering if Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) use the same address. Are they interchangeable or do they have separate addresses?

Sending Bitcoin Cash (BCH) to an address on the Bitcoin (BTC) blockchain will result in the funds not appearing on the Bitcoin blockchain.

Similarly, sending Bitcoin (BTC) to a Bitcoin Cash (BCH) address will not show up on the BCH blockchain.
