I'm curious about the limit of Bitcoin. Is there a maximum amount of Bitcoin that can be mined or transacted? I want to know how much is the Bitcoin limit.
Once the Bitcoin supply reaches its upper limit, no additional Bitcoins will be generated through mining. This means that the only way to acquire Bitcoins after this point will be through buying them from existing holders or through other means of acquisition.

The total maximum supply of Bitcoin has been capped at 21 million coins.

This limit is an integral part of Bitcoin's design and serves as a key factor in its scarcity and value.

Due to the use of rounding operators within the Bitcoin codebase, it is highly unlikely that the total number of issued Bitcoins will ever actually reach 21 million.

These rounding operators ensure that the mining process remains fair and predictable, but they also introduce a slight discrepancy between the theoretical and practical maximum supply.
