The algorithm for
Bitcoin Cash is a modified version of the original Bitcoin algorithm. It uses the same SHA-256 hashing algorithm for mining and transaction processing but with adjusted parameters to allow for larger block sizes and faster transaction processing. This was done to address some of the scalability issues faced by Bitcoin.
