I’m trying to make a purchase, but when I checked my account, it says 'not enough money'. I’m not sure why this is happening because I thought I had enough funds. Can someone help me understand why my account is showing this message? Why does my account say not enough money?

This status is also commonly referred to as non-sufficient funds, abbreviated as NSF.

When a transaction attempts to withdraw money from a bank account, the bank checks the account balance.
