SFI and FIA are two different organizations. SFI, originally known as SEMA Foundation, Inc, is an automotive aftermarket trade organization that sets safety standards and certifies racing equipment. FIA, on the other hand, is the international governing body for motor sport, responsible for organizing top-level racing events like Formula 1. What is the difference between SFI and FIA?
