Be wary if the airdrop is posted from brand new accounts on social media or forums. Scammers often create new accounts to avoid detection and may use fake names or profiles to promote their schemes.

Grammatical and spelling errors in the airdrop promotion or instructions can also be a sign of a scam. Scammers may not have the resources or expertise to create professional-looking materials, so they may make mistakes that give them away.

One clue that an airdrop may be a scam is if it involves a well-established coin that people have heard about and is listed on coinmarketcap. This can make the airdrop appear legitimate, but it should still be approached with caution.

Be careful if the airdrop organizers ask for donations or payments. Legitimate airdrops are usually free and do not require any financial investment from participants.
