I'm trying to figure out how to insert a trendline in Microsoft Excel. I have a set of data and I want to add a trendline to my chart to better understand the data trend.

To begin, locate the plus sign (+) positioned at the top right corner of the chart.

Upon clicking the plus sign, various options will appear.

It's important to note that Excel only makes the Trendline option available if you have chosen a chart that contains more than one data series.
