1. What is Google authenticator?
Google Authenticator is a form of two-factor authentication (2FA) that helps to verify a user’s identity. It creates a verification code that is refreshed within a specific time frame. Aside from your account password, enabling Google Authenticator on BTCC can help enhance your account security.
2. How to enable Google Authenticator?
Step 1
On the homepage of the BTCC app, tap the icon at the top left corner.
Step 2
On the account page, select Security Settings.
Step 3

*When Google Authenticator is not enabled, ‘Verify now’ will be shown.
Step 4

After installing the Google Authenticator app, please tap I have installed the app.
Step 5
Tap Copy the key and then tap Next step.
*Please make a copy of your key to avoid losing it.
Step 6
Please leave the BTCC app for now and open the Google Authenticator app. Follow these two steps:
1. Tap the '+' button. The screenshot below is an example for Android devices.
2. Select 'Enter key manually' / 'Enter a setup key'
Fill in your BTCC account email/phone and paste the key.
