What is BitDAO and BIT Tokens?

BitDAO is one of the largest Daos in the world, supported by Peter Thiel, founders fund, Pantera, dragonfly, Spartan, bybit, etc. Bybit has promised to make regular contributions to the BitDAO warehouse, with an annual interest rate of more than US $1billion in 2021. (see analysis)

BitDAO’s vision is open finance and a decentralized token economy. Dao wants to support a wide range of projects, including defi, Dao, NFTs and games. The forms of support will be research and development, liquidity guidance and funding.

The target of BitDAO is 

• Cooperate with the project through token exchange and joint development. Token exchange will enable BitDAO’s storehouse to accumulate a collection of top-level crypto project tokens.
• Build core products to make BitDAO and other Daos operate more effectively. This includes on chain and off chain governance solutions, as well as Dao financial management solutions.
• Provide subsidies to teams that produce research or products that are public goods in the cryptocurrency industry. All warehouse actions will be decided by the bit token holder through the proposal and voting process.

How Does BitDAO Work?

BitDAO will seek to cooperate with the project through token exchange and joint development. BitDAO can provide support in the form of research and development, liquidity guidance and funds.

• Swap: a collection of token swap and accumulation of top-level defi and cryptocurrency items. The exchange will be in line with BitDAO’s interests. They will support partner projects to become category leaders, and one of their priority partners is spot and derivatives dexes.
• Build. Build core products to make Dao work more effectively, including governance suite and financial management.
• Support. Provide funding for projects related to DFI, governance, tier 1 / Tier 2, privacy, NFTs, etc. It will also provide grants to BitDAO contributors (i.e., establishing a custom governance module or efforts in community management…).

All grants will go through BitDAO’s proposal and voting process.

How to Purchase BIT Tokens

Since bit token is quite new, it may not appear on all trading platforms. Currently, bit can be purchased through sushiswap DEX on the Ethereum blockchain. BIT Tokens were provided on bybit on September 17, 2021 as part of the debut of launchpad, a cryptocurrency platform, and other uses of bit.
