Gnosis
There are two separate native tokens on the Gnosis platform, responsible for two separate functions. GNO is used to incentivize long-term participation in the ecosystem, while OWL (formerly WIZ) is used to interact with the platform. Network participants can lock GNO to generate OWL tokens, which are locked in a smart contract and later allowed to be redeemed. The amount of OWL received by participants depends on the amount of GNO locked, the time of distribution, and the current total supply of OWL in the market.
