Theta Network
THETA is the native token of Theta Network, developed by Theta Labs, an open-source blockchain-backed network built for video streaming. Launched in March 2019, the mainnet is a decentralized network where users can share bandwidth and computing resources on a peer-to-peer (P2P) basis. Tokens on the Theta blockchain are used as incentives to encourage individual users to share their redundant computing and bandwidth resources as cache or relay nodes for video streams.
